Position Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Lead who combines space sector understanding with strategic communications expertise to build the SkyServe marketing function from the ground up - bridging
technical excellence with business impact. You will architect and drive end-to-end marketing, PR, and communications strategies that elevate SkyServe’s brand and market relevance across private
enterprise buyers, government agencies, and defence stakeholders.
This role requires familiarity with space technologies, defence procurement cycles, government
communications norms, and commercial GTM strategies, and will be responsible for building and
leading a high-performance marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Brand and GTM Leadership
- Define and execute SkyServe’s integrated marketing strategy across all product and service
lines.
- Establish SkyServe’s brand identity and positioning in both commercial and
government/defence markets.
- Build differentiated value propositions that resonate with technical buyers, mission owners,
and C-suite leaders.
- Develop strategic go-to-market frameworks for product launches, solution campaigns, and
cross-sector outreach.
Technical & Product Marketing
- Partner closely with engineering, product, and mission delivery teams to extract deep technical insights.
- Translate complex technologies (e.g., satellite platforms, ground systems, space services) into clear, compelling narratives for diverse stakeholder audiences.
- Oversee creation of technical collateral — whitepapers, case studies, product briefs, launch narratives, website content, and executive presentations.
PR, Corporate Communications & Thought Leadership
- Drive proactive PR strategies for announcements, mission milestones, stakeholder communications, and major partnerships.
- Build SkyServe’s executive thought leadership presence across industry forums, government engagements, and defence tech platforms.
- Serve as the primary lead in communications with press, analysts, and industry bodies.
